In order to receive XM programming through your car stereo, you'll need to select one of the easy to use connections methods, which are detailed below:
Do-it-yourself when your vehicle has a cassette player Use the Cassette Adapter (may be sold separately) if your vehicle's audio system has a built in cassette player. The cassette adapter will provide the best audio quality.
Do-it-yourself or professionally installed to your vehicle's FM antenna You can listen to your XM Radio through your car stereo using the XM SureConnect accessory. Simply find an unused FM frequency on the stereo and set your XM Radio to transmit on that same frequency.
Professional Pre-Paid InstallCardThe pre-paid InstallCard will be in a plastic pouch in the shipping box, along with your new XM Radio. It's easy to arrange the installation of your receiver. Simply go to www.XM.InstallCard.com or call the toll-free number on the back of the card to schedule a time to bring your car to the installation facility. Note: This InstallCard can not be redeemed at Best Buy, Circuit City or Tweeter. Some vehicles may require additional charges for specialized hardware or additional labor, which can be paid directly to the installer.
