The new generation of Electronic Flight Bags has arrived with the first generation Paperless Cockpit FliteServ EFB™. Paperless Cockpit's FliteServ EFB™ provides the same convenience as a standard EFB, but in a customizable form factor with increased functionality that adapts as technology grows. The EFB system includes as standard a FliteServ 700 processing unit along with the E-Board Plus remote display. Upgrades to the FliteServ 700 are available to configure the system to your requirements as needed. By combining the E-Board Plus remote display with the FliteServ 700 processing unit, the FliteServ EFB can provide operators with access to electronic charts, real-time weather and on-screen position information without cluttering the cockpit with cables and wires. The FliteServ 700 may also be purchased independently and used in conjunction with the E-Board, E-Board Plus as mentioned above or with other capable display devices.

FliteServ EFB XM WX Capability
The XM WX Weather Data service can be integrated into the FliteServ EFB by connecting the WxWorx receiver and loading the WxWorx on Wings software package to the FliteServ 700 processing unit.

Also available from Paperless Cockpit is the E-Board XP™. Weighing only 1.8 lbs and measuring less than an inch thick, the E-Board XP minimizes cockpit clutter and provides easy access to flight deck systems. The 8.4 inch high contrast, resistive touch screen delivers efficient access to menus and system functions, and a 1 Gigahertz Transmetta Crusoe processor and on board hard drive enables the E-Board XP to zip through electronic charts and advanced EFB applications, minimizing heads down time during critical phases of flight.

E-Board XP XM WX Capability
The E-Board XP offers unlimited expansion to support additional data storage, wired and wireless networking, and integration with advanced flight deck solutions such as on-board GPS and the WxWorx receiver which will enable the XM WX service capability.

Also available is the E-Board Plus™ with internal processor, memory and onboard Flash Storage that will allow basic Microsoft® Windows® functionality via its CE.NET operating system, providing access to electronic documents, e-mail and the Internet. At 1.65 pounds and only 0.75 inches thick, Paperless Cockpit's E-Board Plus™ packs power and versatility into an 8.4-inch touch screen display. The optional remote capability of the display provides pilots with access to advanced applications like XM WX Satellite Weather using the WxWorx receiver and WxWorx on Wings software which must be loaded on the FliteServ 700 or on another computer system.

In addition to the E-Board Plus, Paperless Cockpit offers the E-Board™, weighing only 1.5 lbs with a hi-brite touch screen display for easy user interface. The E-Board does not contain an integrated processor and memory capability but acts only as a remote display device for other computer systems. The E-Board connects to the FliteServ 700 or any Microsoft Windows laptop, tablet PC, or computer through a secured 802.11b wireless connection. The Paperless Cockpit E-Board is rugged for cockpit conditions and allows the implementation of advanced EFB applications as well as the XM WX service capability with the WxWorx receiver and software.
