XM WX Receiver

and doesn’t require a permanent mount. The WxWorx non-certified receiver
offers pilots a wide selection of display options from PDA’s and

WxWorx on Wings®
Easy
to use and rich with functionality and comprehensive weather data, the
WxWorx on Wings aviation software provides pilots with a portable,
affordable and robust package. Basic mapping references and standard aviation
aids are tightly integrated within the mapping window. Easy to understand
and reference weather displays provide at-a-glance readability. Use it
to view:
- nationwide NEXRAD radar
- winds aloft
- lightning strikes
- cloud tops
- TFRs
- METARs
- and more
Pilots can even integrate a GPS unit for an on-screen reference of the plane’s position, increasing situational awareness, even if no turbulent weather is present. Designed with portability in mind, the software will operate on any Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Tablet PC device that meets the hardware requirements.
